Hey everyone! Day 14 of the Knit-A-Thon we have some simple baby booties. These are easy garter stitch and oh so adorable.

Items:
Loops & Threads Impeccable Yarn in Grass (4ply medium)
Clover Bamboo Interchangeable 16" Circular Needles size 6 (4mm)
Scissors
Tapestry

Size:
3 (6, 12) months

Gauge:
15 sts and 30 rows = 4" in garter st

Original Pattern:

Instructions:
Cast on 28 (36, 44) sts
Knit 2 rows (garter st)

Increase Row (rightside): Kfb, k to the end

Repeat last row 5 more times. 34 (42, 50) sts

Knit 4 (6, 8) rows.

Decrease Row: K1, K2tog, k to end.

Repeat last row 5 more times. 28 (36, 44) sts.

Shape Cuff:
The next 2 rows, begin with casting off 4 (6, 7) sts - 20 (24, 30) sts

Knit 8 rows. Bind off loosely.

Finishing:
With rightsides together, stitch bottom seam and toe.
Turn rightside out. Tack down top folded cuff.

Baby booties are so hard to pass up. Every pattern Ive seen, I want to make and I dont even have a reason to make them. But they are too cute to not make. This is a pattern that was listed on the inside paper of the yarn that I used. These are so easy and quick to make you can finish a pair in 1 hour. I hope you guys try these out and like making them. Instructions: Cast on 34 (40) sts Work garter st (knit every row) for 1 inch. Noting first row as WS and ending with a WS row. Row 1: Knit. Row 2: Purl. Instep: Row 1: K22 (26), Turn. Leave remaining 12 (14) sts on needle. Row 2: P10 (12). Leave remaining 12 (14) sts on second needle. Transfer both sets of sts to stitch holders. Row 3: K10 (12). Row 4: P10 (12). Repeat last 2 rows 10 (12) times more. Cut yarn. With RS facing. K12 (14) from first st holder. Pick up and knit 10 (12) sts along side of instep. K10 (12) of instep.
