Hey everyone! Baby booties are so hard to pass up. Every pattern I've seen, I want to make and I don't even have a reason to make them. But they are too cute to not make. This is a pattern that was listed on the inside paper of the yarn that I used. These are so easy and quick to make you can finish a pair in 1 hour. I hope you guys try these out and like making them.

Boye Aluminum Double Pointed Needle size 6 (4mm)
Loops & Threads Snuggly Wuggly Yarn in Fresh Green (5 oz, 446 yds, #3 light) 1 ball
Stitch Holders
Tapestry Needle
Sizes:
Baby's feet 6/12, (18/24) months
Gauge:
22 sts and 28 rows = 4" in stockinette stitch.
Instructions:
Cast on 34 (40) sts
Work garter st (knit every row) for 1 inch. Noting first row as WS and ending with a WS row.
Row 1: Knit.
Row 2: Purl.
Instep:
Row 1: K22 (26), Turn. Leave remaining 12 (14) sts on needle.
Row 2: P10 (12). Leave remaining 12 (14) sts on second needle.
Transfer both sets of sts to stitch holders.
Row 3: K10 (12).
Row 4: P10 (12).
Repeat last 2 rows 10 (12) times more.
Cut yarn.
With RS facing. K12 (14) from first st holder. Pick up and knit 10 (12) sts along side of instep. K10 (12) of instep. Pick up and K10 (12) sts along other side of instep. K12 (14) from second st holder - 54 (64) sts.
Starting on the WS row, work 7 rows, total, in stockinette st - 54 (64) sts
Shape Sole:
Row 1 (right side): K2tog, K23 (28), (K2tog) twice, K23 (28), K2tog
Row 2 and alternating rows: Knit
Row 3: K2tog, K21 (26), (K2tog) twice, K21 (26), K2tog
Row 5: K2tog, K19 (24), (K2tog) twice, K19 (24), K2tog
Row 7: K2tog, K17 (22), (K2tog) twice, K17 (22), K2tog
Row 9: K2tog, K15 (20), (K2tog) twice, K15 (20), K2tog
Row 11: K2tog, K13 (18), (K2tog) twice, K13 (18), K2tog
Row 13: K2tog, K11 (16), (K2tog) twice, K11 (16), K2tog
You should now have 26 (32) sts remaining.
Knit bind off.
Sew back seam of booties and weave in all ends.
Repeat pattern to make second bootie.

k2tog = knit next 2 stitches together

st st = stockinette stitch
RS = right side
WS = wrong side
