NOTE FROM ELIAS ALIAS: Below this update/edit is my original text, but before we get to that I would like to ask readers here to humor me by reading this new introduction which I'm posting on September 24, 2019. I posted this video in September of 2018. Today is the 24th of September in 2019, a year after making and posting the above video. Miracles do come true, as Kostas sings toward the end of the video. My dream of having an online store for Silver Seeds of Liberty has been realized, although I'm redoing the photography at present and making other edits and additions to the online store. But I have not taken this idea about Silver Seeds of Liberty out to the big ol' Internet, not just yet, as I'm still developing various facets of the complete operation. But the store is now a reality, so that's my miracle at the moment. If you open the site on a real computer or laptop with a full screen, you can see me doing a casting by torch. (That video won't work on most smart phones, so do open the page on a pc or laptop. At top of that page you can click on the "Shop" page to see inventory, and at bottom of that page is a link to page two. More inventory is on the way, with less expensive pieces added to the line in coming weeks and months. Thank you for checking it out.
BUT THE REALLY BIG MIRACLE IS ABOUT KOSTAS!
My friend Kostas has been a very successful song writer for many years. People like Dwight Yoakam , Patty Loveless, Travis Tritt, the Dixie Chicks, and many other famous singers have made Kostas songs familiar to millions of listeners all over the country. And now Kostas is being blessed with an even bigger miracle -- so big that I don't know how to wrap my head around the significance of it. Or I should say, a wonderful miracle is about to happen next month, in October of 2019. That is when Kostas will go down to Tennessee and be inducted into the Nashville Song Writers Hall of Fame!
Wow! Talk about miracles! I got the news a couple of weeks ago when I journeyed about four hundred miles south from the Canadian border to where Kostas lives and got to spend the day with him at his building just several miles outside Bozeman, Montana. We had a wonderful visit, and Kostas sang a number of new songs for me as we passed a very pleasant afternoon on the back deck of his building. That evening we had dinner at the MINT in Belgrade, then retired back to Kostas' home to spend the night.
That was when and where Kostas gave me the news -- Holy Smokes! Kostas is being inducted into the Nashville Song Writers Hall Of Fame!!!
So, yeah, Kostas and I both believe in miracles. ;)
I don't know if anyone in Nashville has picked up the song "Miracles" yet, but Kostas is okay with my having used it last year in making the above video. He knows I listen to his songs while I'm working in my studio. It's a wonderful song, indicative of much of his song writing talent, so go on back up to the video above and check his song, "Miracles".
Additionally, I've just spent the night here rounding up some video clips and making a playlist of Kostas, which I'm closing for the time being with this video above. The Play List --

More on the Silver Seeds of Liberty project, which is a "Mental Militia" method of fund-raising. It's trading silver and gold for the dollars needed to produce artistic sculpture and jewelry with diamonds and precious gemstones. You can learn about my background as a dental technician and how that led me into gold sculpture and jewelry design work, which I've done for most of my life.
