An arrangement done by Sharon Angelo way back in the latter half of the 70's. I would drive to Tonica Illinois from Mendota to go for lessons. She was a great teacher. I remember around Christmas time playing Christmas songs at a restaurant and a nursing home with other students. She was trying to get us out in front of an audience.
I would drive my dad's station wagon, a Plymouth Fury to lessons. It was a green colored car. I drove in snowstorms and that was a challenge on ole route 51 pre-I-39, I was only 16. My dad and mom must have been worried.
