I wrote a historical fiction book called, "Twice upon a Ghost Town," which is also an ebook on amazon. Check it out. It has many pictures of Rhyolite Nevada before it came a ghost town in the 1920's The Las Vegas & Tonapah RR served RHyolite and it's gold mining boom. It connected with the Union Pacific at Vegas 150 miles away. You'll like the book.
