In Town Hall, you can steal the save point by clipping into it from the opposite side using the collision of a small firearm. By doing so, you open up a number of glitchy fun things in Shepherd's Glen. More info below.

I. Stealing the Save Point
To do this, simply stand behind the save point and draw your weapon. The weapon will clip into the save point, and bring up the save prompt. When the prompt comes up, access the save menu. Whether or not you save doesn't matter, so just cancel out. Repeat this process until the "Save" prompt stays on screen (usually takes around tries, sometimes more, sometimes less). When the prompt stays on screen BACK UP from the wall until you are away from the save point's radius.

II. Saving Anywhere
You can now "save" anywhere in Town Hall, or the streets, or in Doc Fitch's office. However, the save is still programmed to the room it's located in, so if you save the game anywhere and load that save, you'll be back at the room the save point is in.

III. The Limits of the Glitch
You can only bring the save point to places in Town Hall (including the underground tunnels), this half of Shepherd's Glen and it's streets (and the park area), and Doc Fitch's office.
Everything else you try to enter exists in a different part of the game's coding, so the save point glitch will self-correct if you try to bring it anywhere else.

IV. Going to the Cemetery
If you take the save point to the ladder leading back to the cemetery and try to save DURING the ladder climb, this will interrupt the game's loading of the next area. By interrupting the ladder climb, when Alex appears in the next area, the cemetery will be gone. He'll fall through the map and die, then force a reload. He will fall again and die, and force a reload. On the fourth time he falls, the game will crash.

V. Going to the Shepherd House
Interrupting the load screen to the Shepherd House has an interesting side effect. When you interrupt it, Alex will appear in a strange version of his house where half of the house is missing. He will ALWAYS reappear standing on the suitcases next to the wall in the foyer. Most furniture and small assets will be missing.
You may never have noticed this before, but the mirror on the dresser in the parent's bedroom has a reflection of an empty house (as do the mirrors in the bathroom). No coincidence, then, that these mirrors appear in this half-missing house. It turns out that these mirrors are reflecting a version of the house that, in normal gameplay, you can't see (the empty version). If you've ever noticed the mirrors reflect an empty house, this is why. The mirrors are assets that belong to a 2nd version of the house.
Lastly, the two house cutscenes (one in the bedroom, one in the living room) can still be triggered, missing assets and all. Leading to things like Lillian floating in the air, etc.
