These are a few exchanges of dialogue that are not well known, found in the Monastery level. More information below.
In the monastery level, after first talking to the kid behind the door, Murphy will ask about the rhymebook. Nothing special, right?
However, if you go far enough away from the door (at least to the bell tower) and return, you will get extended dialogue exchanges between Murphy and the kid. And it gets a little weird.
-------------------
--First hidden dialogue: during this first exchange, there is a very obvious and extremely awkward gap of silence between the two characters.
--Second hidden dialogue: the exchanges and subtitles between the characters seem to glitch out and overlap one another for no real reason.
--Third and final hidden dialogue: the exchanges are almost identical to the second set, except the kid's lines are slightly different. The glitchy overlap still exists.
After this third hidden set, the conversation will loop back to the original dialogue exchange that everyone is probably familiar with.
------------------
I think most people might not be familiar with this because, at this point in the game, the level design is painfully linear. There is absolutely no reason for the player to reach the bell tower and then just turn around and go back to the kid at the door. And once you cross a plank near the bell tower, you can't go back at all.
Perhaps these lines of dialogue were forgotten about? Maybe they were meant to be taken out? I don't know. But the dialogue is really awkward and glitchy.
It feels like a mistake, is what I'm saying.
