This is the track "Forest" from Silent Hill 2 in it's full and mostly unknown form. More information is below, this needs a little explaining.

The 2:08 Version of "Forest"
Okay, so this track "Forest" is found on the Silent Hill 2 OST, as well as in-game. The track's length is 1:43 (with the track fading out towards the end).
However this 1:43 version isn't the true version. The true and complete version of this track is actually 2:08 long, not 1:43. There's an additional 25 seconds of music beyond the well-known end point of 1:43.
At the moment I'm not ready to explain how I got this. This isn't a file rip or anything. I obtained this another way. And this version doesn't exist on any soundtracks, official or fan made. As far as I am aware, this version isn't available anywhere else.
When I'm ready I'll talk more about how I obtained this track.

"2:08" vs. "1:43" Versions
The extra 25 seconds of music is an original continuation of the track. The fading out towards the end of the 1:43 version (starting around the 1:36 ish mark) isn't how the song actually ends.
When the track continues past the 1:43 mark, it continues on a melodic path towards an ending segment that abruptly ends.
If you go to the link I provided above you can hear what this track is meant to sound like when naturally looped. The final 5 or so seconds of this track sounds like it was designed to be used as a fading transition between loops. In the link above I loop this track for 30 minutes and mask the final bit of the song inside transitions. You can see that it sounds like this is what the ending was meant for.
It appears as though, when putting the OST for this game together, they chose a completely arbitrary time to fade the track out.
Tragically we've all been listening to the incomplete version of this beautiful track for years and years.
And just to clarify this is NOT a custom track. I didn't take the 1:43 version and add stuff to it. This song literally has 25 extra seconds of music to it. That 1:43 version is wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong and we've all been lied to about it.
