The Shower valve temperature control wasn’t working. And it was leaking. This shows a typical dismantling and fix. This one is a Bristan thermostatic shower, there are many different types that operate similarly. You just need to work out how they come apart, using this video for inspiration! Might be called a shower faucet in USA?…
If you happen to have the same shower valve the complete replacement part is Bristan thermostatic shower cartridge assembly, widely known by its full part code CART 06732COMPL.
The seal kit for this is Bristan SK 00400185

Cartridge PART NUMBER: SK-00400185
