(I apologize for the weird sound quality).
I wanted to try a lightweight rocket stove that I could pack on the trail. I wanted to keep the fire contained and use as little fuel as possible that I could readily obtain. This stove is pretty cool. It boils water quickly and if you fill the insides with paper or even pine needles, it will sit quietly in your pack. You can make your own but I wanted to try the least expensive one I could find. I have not had it long enough to test the durability but I would pack it on the top of your gear. Let me know if you have other options because I like to learn more from other folks in the field. Thank you. I am going to try to figure out what is messing with the sound quality. I can't re-record but I will never use that camera again. Maybe I will attempt to dub over the whole thing.
