When people say that God will heal your marriage if you are just righteous enough and pray enough, is that true? Can a godly spouse unilaterally fix their abusive, addicted, or unfaithful spouse?

How do you know if you've tried enough? Only you know how much you can take. Only you know what's going on behind closed doors.

Despite what you've been told all your life, staying in danger and demanding that God do a miracle is not godly. In fact, it may be considered "tempting the Lord your God." Matthew 4:7

I use the story of Satan's temptation of Jesus to prove my point.
The truth is that the same people who tell you to "stay and pray for a miracle" would never give that advice if their own house was burning down.

If your house is burning down, maybe it's more godly and righteous to save lives!
