This video is about a theory in epistemology called evidentialism. Evidentialism is the view that what we should believe is determined only by our evidence. We then discuss three recently challenges to evidentialism: epistemic partiality, moral encroachment, and beneficial beliefs. We conclude by examining some ways that an evidentialist might respond to these challenges.
