This video is about valid and invalid arguments. First, we discuss the value of standard form arguments. Then, we see two ways an argument can go wrong: if it has a false premise, or if the conclusion doesn't follow from the premises. We discuss the definition of validity and how it is similar to playing pretend. Then, we cover six general valid argument forms and two general invalid argument forms. We close with three tips for discovered validity and invalidity, and finally a distinction between two kinds of validity. Much of the content from the video is taken from Feldman's _Reason and Argument_, chapter 3.
