Art Teachers in Training will (hopefully) save you from telling students where the trash can (that literally NEVER moves) is or reminding them that you are not a drying rack. š³
How do I pick an Art Teacher in Training for each table? I have done it a couple ways. The fastest method is doing it by number: the seats at my tables are numbered 1-4ā¦so each art class, I rotate the numbers. On the first day, it might be all of the #1s at each tableā¦and the next day, it may be all of the #2s!
Or you can use this as an incentive! As my students walk in and listen to directions, I remind them that Iām ālooking for an art teacher in trainingāā¦and then I pick once students are seated and creating.
