Throwback to a couple years ago…
I ALWAYS wanted to give these artists the chance to really explore a variety of art supplies…but with 30 minute art classes, I thought it was impossible. Until I tried rotating stations. This was a HUGE learning curve for me on how to structure it…and it turns out, that less structure was better! The kids loved it!
I will say: THIS IS NOT FOR THR FIRST YEAR TEACHER. It’s a lot! So don’t feel pressured to try it all your first (3-5) years! But if you are wanting to try something new…I think you and your artists might dig this.
It does help…to set this up and then do it with ALL students for a few art classes. It feels like less prep (tho it’s not). It also helps to have a video created to visually walk your artists thru each process.
