This is probably a long overdue change for Zippy! I had been waiting for the stars to align where Mountune had a short shifter in stock and I had the motivation to buy possibly the most expensive one on the market. That never happened and when OEM Denied/Focus on Performance in Queensland shared they had their short shifter at 50% off, I jumped at it. This one has ended up costing roughly 1/4 the price of the Mountune one.
Installation is fairly easy although some bits are fiddly. OEM Denied emailed well laid out colour photo instructions a few days after the part arrived. I managed to do it without removing the battery and tray but if you are clumsy or have massive hands it would probably pay to do this step. Make sure you have all the right tools and blue thread locker before you start. If you are mechanically sound you could probably get through this fairly quickly but if it is your first time set aside 2-3 hours to be on the safe side.
