Sam's club is VERY POPULAR in CHINA! Did you know that? We didn't expect an American store such this exist in China.
We took a full tour of this exclusive, membership-only warehouse store in Chengdu, searching for prices and availability of electronics, food and more.
We found affordable as well as expensive options for TVs, smartphones, stabilizers and home entertainment stuff. We also discovered dozens of strange food items that we'd never seen before. Not to mention $1400 USD alcohol! (This is also a testament to China's safety/lack of theft-- many of the expensive items were right on the shelf, and not behind glass.)
In the end, we tried the highly recommended fried chicken at Sam's cafe. Delicious! Although, temendously greasy. No regrets!
