Our first time at Costco in South Korea. We didn't expect an American warehouse store like Costco exists in South Korea. What's a big box store in Korea like? We hunted for good deals on electronics, groceries and food, clothes and more!
What's great is last week we were in Costco in China. It was nice to make a comparison on some of the items.
For 1: A Chinese iPhone costs 160 USD less than a Korean iPhone. (Pro Max 16, 256GB, the newest and best iPhone).
For 2: It was interesting to see all the American products in Korea, especially meat. Shelves and shelves of U.S.A beef. We wonder if Trump's tariffs will affect that moving forward.
We learned more about the cost of living in Korea - and whether it is an expensive or affordable country. The cost of groceries is a key indicator of quality of life, and so it was great to learn about what an expat life in Korea would be like. This video might help someone wondering: Should I move to Korea?
And as always, we enjoyed discovering things that are common in Korea-- especially when we have never seen them in our lives. We found some unique items that we are glad to share with you all.
