Are groceries afffordable in the United States? It's a good question: We figure most people are probably buying their food from WalMart, but we've always heard of a store called Trader Joe's. We've never been inside one before, so we decided to check it out.
Trader Joe's is a store that has a bit of a fanbase. A lot of people have raved about it to us... how they LOVE this store. I guess we can sort of see why.
It's got some really unique foods, and honestly the prices are not too bad! At first glance, we figured this place would be expensive. It feels like a health store. They sell stuff like pumpkin bisque, and butternut scotch risotto. But, the prices were fair: we were able to buy quite a bit, and not leave empty handed like the broke YouTubers that we are (insert cool sunglasses emoji guy)
I had to include a scene of me rolling my eyes at the hipster beer section. 4 bucks a can for a beer called Blueberry Boyfriend. What the heck? If you wanna be a fancy pants, go drink red wine with the rest of the fancy pantses. Beer is supposed to be a buck a can, with a 100 year old recipe, and to be enjoyed while watching the Cowboys lose. WOO! THIS IS OUR YEAR!
