The final member of my Water Monotype Challenge in Sapphire! Shiny Clamperl.
I literally couldn't have asked for a better way to finish this quest. Relicanth first phase doing the repel trick and then Clamperl first phase after using Sweet Scent. Perfect. Very happy to have finished this quest off. It wasn't tough but more, tedious. Two fishing encounters & the Relicanth repel trick but as my collection grows, hunts will become harder. I thoroughly enjoyed this quest start to finish. I love doing monotype challenges and this will be the first of many, many of these throughout the series.

It happened finally, after a collective 83,823 encounters I got my pink Spheal. I cannot express how annoying this hunt has been. It’s a nightmare to constantly phase and I certainly won’t be underestimating 255 catch rate Safari Zone Pokemon ever again. The end result is so worth the pain though.

The first member of my Ruby Dream Team has appeared after two uncatchable Pooches! Im honestly shocked that it has taken me this long to both hunt and find my favourite starter from the entire series. I love the blue-ish green look of the shiny & the red tail really show in this generation. I couldnt be happier honestly.
Ruby is one of my favourite games in the series and as I say in the video, I have a shockingly low amount of Hoenn Pokémon in their respective games so its about time I correct that starting with this beautiful Treecko.
I hope youre excited as much as I am to see this team come together.

2nd of the Kanto trio shines much quicker than the first (Charmander). I was terrified during this hunt that I wouldnt notice the shiny when it appeared but I noticed it straight away. It looks super different. I love this line a lot and Ill eventually be getting one in FireRed/LeafGreen but I love Island Scanning for these to get them in unique Pokéballs.

Shiny Lapras appears very quickly for me as my 2nd team member for my Dream Team Quest. Always really liked this shiny and I got a great nature for it too. I was initially planning to hunt this in Gen III but I much prefer it in 4th Gen after having watched other videos on it. Love the purple on it and its walking sprite behind me is just incredible.
Next up is Steelix, at Cliff Cave. Hopefully its another fast but if not, its a 100% repel trick so it doesnt matter how long it takes. Really keen to get this quest done this year so I can hunt the roaming Latios/Latias in Kanto.

Shiny Dratini appears just shy of 10,000 seen for my FireRed Dream Team member #4! I had a decent feeling this would be a kind hunt after Eevee took 25,000. Considering this was a 3 in 1 reset hunt, I dont think it was all that bad plus I streamed this hunt exclusively too which always helps pass the time quicker.
This line is a popular shiny hunt for obvious reasons. Its a classic Kanto Pokemon that is a very nice shiny and the ways you hunt it in Gen 3 and 4, in particular, are very easy. Id love to try for one in Platinum one day, who knows.
Next up is Omanyte though Im considering Shelder out of order but I dont know yet. Well see.
