🚨 Multiple 911 calls reported a woman screaming for help… then police spotted a Jeep with her hanging out of the door. What followed turned into a high-speed pursuit through Oklahoma City.
According to the report, this was not just a chase — it was an active kidnapping. The victim had been held against her will for days, assaulted, and strangled to the point where she couldn’t breathe. She told officers the suspect said she was going to die because he didn’t want to go back to jail.
The suspect, Elizha Cardale Sanders (29), a convicted felon with a prior assault conviction, fled when officers attempted to stop him. The pursuit reached speeds of over 100 MPH, with the suspect running red lights, swerving through traffic, and even attempting to take other vehicles during the chaos.
The situation came to an end when officers were able to stop the Jeep and take Sanders into custody after a brief foot pursuit and physical struggle. The victim was able to escape and get to safety.
Sanders now faces multiple charges, including:
Kidnapping (Felony)
Domestic Assault & Battery by Strangulation (Felony)
Attempted Carjacking (Felony)
Felony Eluding / Endangering Others
Interfering with an Officer
