Best hidden secret in video gaming history? Think about it...
It you press X+B after selecting "Entry" and hold them until the race starts you get a nice display of how good your duck is and even how much it improves.
The duck in the penguin race is the same one that I trained for a video back in 2014. The stats are a result of having 35 races under the belt.
The stats can go as high as 255 in each category and you can somewhat focus on what you to train.
Turn will go up the quickest, as it's coming from just taking clean turns. Speed comes from running at full speed. Stamina comes from keeping that gauge high, preferably at max throughout the race
Guts will come from ramming other ducks and will always go up by 1 even if you avoid everything
The combined value of all stats is limited to 800, so it's not possible to train everything to the maximum. It's probably best to keep Guts low so more points can go towards Speed and Stamina.
