Gov. Josh Shapiro says data center developers that refuse to comply with Pennsylvania’s new requirements could lose access to a state sales tax exemption on data center equipment. “These are the wealthiest companies in the world,” Shapiro said. “They shouldn’t get a tax break for gouging our communities.”
