Shaky-Sand and Quantum-Ticking lives! in the most recent snapshot the original way to create the Shaky-Sand is patched, but with this modified setup, you can still get the Quantum-Ticking which is 3x Faster than the older ways of 0-Ticking. It is not as stable as exiting the game can result in the sand turning back into a sand block (and stopping its shaking) forcing you to break it and re-drop and re-plant, but as this setup does not require any Slime Balls (Not Sticky Pistons!) and no quartz, it is still available early game setup or a setup on a public server where slime balls are rare.
