A rundown of every album cover I find to be excellent, whether it be for a nice color scheme, cool graphics, interesting designs, neat concepts, nice drawings or photographs, or a combination of the 5. This’ll probably be one of those “videos I make just to make a video” videos, but hopefully this gives you an idea of what I like in an album cover. I promise not all of these are power metal albums.
It goes without saying that these are all albums and artists I recommend if they’re unfamiliar to you. Even if it’s just because of the cover, check them out.
If you find yourself confused throughout the video, Baby Pegasus = favorite album of the band in question, ding = favorite cover of the band in question if multiple covers are featured.
Fun fact: I had over an hour’s worth of footage that’s now condensed down to 20 minutes.
