As a follow-up to a video I made with TheRandomGangsta a few years ago, this is a video about how to properly recommend bands to people. This isn’t just targeted towards metal elitists, but people in general. Listening back to this video, I can understand if people might think I’m sounding “Buzzfeed-y”, but try to focus less on that and more on the actual points.
I also go on tangents about the term “gateway band”, and more about the idea of trying to change someone’s taste that I talked about in my “Stick to What You Like” video.
Also my friend Kevin sent me an updated version of his song “Take”, that I’ve been using as my intro song for the longest time, that you can hear now. I am wanting to get a new intro made at some point, but for now, I hope it at least sounds good.
