While there are ways to copy pre-existing animations from one TF2 class to another, you can't use that trick to import animations from different games (for instance, a HL2 animation to a TF2 model). This is the result of a quick experiment in trying to fake this, by locking an IK'd Scout model's various parts to a HL2 Civillian. The end result isn't perfect (the arms in particular) but it's a good start.

![[SFM] When In Rome
A quick test to see whether or not I could make original voices (which is to say, recorded by me and not ripped from TF2 or other sources) not look or sound like crap. The ending was pretty much tacked on at the last minute, and it shows.
The map, should you want it (it IS a good map!) is cp_blackmesa by Dragonhill - http://gamebanana.com/maps/56580
I swear the next SFM video wont be about hats. I promise. [SFM] When In Rome](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/qaLsNJ12HMo/mqdefault.jpg)

![[SFM] Sequences Test
Using pre-existing sequences in a model and tweaking those instead of doing animations from scratch. This one isnt great, but I guess it works for the one-note joke that it is. [SFM] Sequences Test](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/rYwdJ2CdCdA/mqdefault.jpg)
