When you drop those exploding barrels (by getting hit, for example), their explosion creates a large collision sphere.
This collision sphere can be used to push me OoB. (It can probably used elsewhere too)

From here I make my way into the hovercraft cave early and do some really weird shenanigans with the hovercraft. Getting a Fuel Cell pickup for the first time allows me to glitch off the hovercraft and this causes the camera to freak out. Fun times were had
In this state, going into Z-mode reloads the area and puts the hovercraft back on the floor.
Note that using this OoB you can run all the way down the hovercraft course but there's no cutscene at the end to get tricky, and even saving and reloading doesn't give him to you.
The course actually runs underneath the start of the map so if you fall OoB you can reach the end of the course right away.
