SnappyDragon | Sewing a Witchy Edwardian Blouse in a Witchy Edwardian House @SnappyDragon | Uploaded November 2020 | Updated October 2024, 2 hours ago.
I moved into an Edwardian house formerly occupied by an Actual Witch, so I made a Witchy Edwardian Blouse to match! Please join me for some belated Spoopy Funtimes while I get my Gothic Gibson Girl on.
Blouses and shirtwaists came into their own in late Victorian fashion and by the Edwardian era, this gathered witchy blouse would have been a commonplace garment, if a bit unusual for being made in black cotton lawn. This blouse is made using Truly Victorian TVE47, the 1908 Countryside Blouse, and is suitable for both historical and modern or historybounding wear, while going about one's Witchy Business.
