Caught up with a Tornado-warned severe supercell thunderstorm as it approached the Paw Paw, MI area, then followed as best we could in rush-hour traffic to Richland, MI. Missing from the footage is some nickel sized hail and blinding rain as we attempted to get ahead of this storm. No confirmed tornado reports yet from this storm or any other on 3-12 in Michigan, however we did capture what at various points appear to be a rain-wrapped low-hanging Meso should one be confirmed in this area. Batteries died right after the most interesting part here, Only thing missing was a great barber-pole updraft associated with this storm near Plainwell, MI. After swapping out batteries the storm got well ahead of us as we fought traffic and heavy rain. Storm motion was just over 50 mph!
