Severe Thunderstorm in southern Michigan. Initially a 1' 30" timelapse. Then video of the winds and rain behind the shelf cloud. Very pronounce bow, unofficially a Derecho. Giving it the name 'I-80 Derecho' because the strongest winds followed Interstate 80 from Davenport, IA all the way to Toledo, OH.

Overnight September 1st and the early hours of September 2nd 2019 I drove up to the North Dakota and Minnesota border area near Hallock, MN to capture Northern Lights that were triggered by a coronal hole in the sun!
