How does someone go from a weather map 3+ days out, take time off work/school, and eventually film a tornado or collect science? This is pretty much how it's done. Watch storm chasers spread out across the plains looking for the best place to catch a tornado on a day that produced BIG TIME.

A synoptically evident tornado event unfolded in Kansas and Nebraska. In other words, this was an event we could see coming for days. But even that doesn't guarantee Tornadoes.
