I acquired this Amazon Basics branded hammock stand several years ago and never got around to assembling it. There have been many times between then and now that I've wanted to use it, including the last few days, so I finally decided to set aside some time to put it together.
It was quite easy to assemble, requiring only a few hand tightened bolts. Seems sturdy for now. Time will tell how long it holds up outdoors, I will likely bring it in during rain. It's smaller than other hammock stands I've seen and has an interesting connection design to accomodate; I suppose this will be desirable if I decide to use this on the deck.
The hammock is extremely stretchy and will likely require a few uses before it stretches enough to put it tight enough to stay away from the ground.
