The Huddersfield Immersive Sound System is an integral element of Electric Spring, an annual festival exploring cutting-edge practices in electronic music. For the 2018 edition of the festival a 50-channel, 62-loudspeaker configuration of The HISS was used, which included the ability to programme work written for our 25.4-channel SPIRAL spatialisation lab. The full two-day HISS setup process is depicted in full here in glorious timelapse!
