Tutorial on setting up email notifications on Reolink cameras. I'm using the desktop software with Gmail but hopefully, the ideas and instructions in this video will help people using other services.

I always thought that this would be a very straightforward task but encryption and multi-factor authentication makes this a little more tricky than you might otherwise think. It's no longer as simple as just authenticating on an SMTP server and sending your mail through.

Also, remember that you do have a limited number of relays that you can do with a regular free Gmail account. I'm sure it will be enough for most people but if you set up your camera so that it's sending a mail every 30 seconds, you might run into problems.
