What day is it, kids? Could be "Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday", who knows anymore?! As usual, we can count on Bob (Bob McGrath) to set us all straight. From 1977, written by Sam Pottle and David Axlerod, and sung by Bob and the kids on some deserted tropical island (or somewhere near New York City, I'm sure, but I have no idea where). Such a sweet way to learn the days of the week. And I love how he doesn't miss a beat when the little girl gives him a leaf or a daisy chain necklace or something (around 1:30), he's such a trooper! Join me as I give thanks every single day for @Sesame Maniac :-)
NOTE: Eagle-eyed @Eric Ryder noticed that the kids are the same ones from Judy Collins' tune, "Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow" (bit.ly/3goNLcz). Gotta love the whole "day" theme there, lol! From the looks of their outfits, I'm guessing it was filmed on the same day in the same area, so if we can figure out where they were for Judy's song, we'll know where this one was filmed. Mama didn't raise no stupid babies, ya know ;-)
