Somehow Pickurt managed to make one of the best chapters in SS2 even better! I'm actually baffled by the fact he managed to fix the hover-fighter so that the attack isn't nerfed by constantly colliding with level geometry, and if that's not enough he made it so YOU CAN FLY A JET!!!
Yeah, that hidden jet you saw in the Kleer planet isn't just for show; Pickurt managed to turn them into functioning vehicles for Sam to use and something about it just feels so satisfying! The jet implementation is actually way better than I was expecting and really makes me want to see them used properly in future Sam games, alongside helicopters and other stuff like that.
The levels that don't feature a ton of vehicles are of course still really fun and benefit greatly from the changes to base enemy health and behaviors Pickurt has made. All around this chapter is incredible and I legit felt like a kid when I first discovered you could actually pilot the jets to drop bombs and do strafing runs on Mental's horde, it's just so good.
