We wanted to run a short series covering home studio setups people are based in during this period of enforced isolation due to COVID-19. This is our second look at a home studio setup recorded by Dan Armstrong at his very nice home recording studio - Dan is a producer / engineer / musician and we will add a link to his music shortly. DAN'S INFO:
Dan’s fall from grace has been mighty. From a promising childhood with a talent for mimicking Arkwright (Open All Hours), he fell into the murky world of studios and production where he failed to further impress, despite being given every opportunity from unlimited budgets to some great talent to work with.
After helping to ruin the careers of successful artists and bands, he found himself wanting to “give back” to future generations of delusional engineers and producers.
Under the guise of not being found out (yet), he’s now both in an educational-lead position and an artist/producer in his own right.
When not ruining the dreams of the aspirational youngsters, he’s working out of his studio, with both his own electronic music projects and co-writing with some big-wigs (until they find out his real past).
