Seldovia is meeting his new habitat mates!
We recently added striped surfperch to the otter habitat! These fish were born at Shedd in April 2022 and have been growing up in another habitat at the aquarium.
The inclusion of these surfperch gives the otters an opportunity to interact with fish. It encourages physical and mental exercise and allows for interactions with other species found in their native habitat.
