Introducing the newest addition to the penguin colony at Shedd! This rockhopper chick hatched on Thursday, June 15, 2023. The chick currently weighs almost two pounds and is growing quickly thanks to regular feedings from its parents, well-known resident rockhoppers Edward and Annie, and animal care experts throughout the day.
