Every year as penguins prepare for their nesting season, we come together to remove every flower bud from bundles of lavender. Along with rocks and pieces of hose, these sticks build the foundation for nests. With a little time and a whole lot of care, Shedd team members contribute to this important time in the lives of the penguins and learn more about their nesting process along the way.
