Sorry, no new content today, but figured I'd make my full unedited PB public while I get the next video ready. There is a small video coming soon, not sure when, PhD work is taking priority.
Sekiro is the first game I have ever speedran. It was really frustrating, I definitely don't have great patience with speedrunning it seems, but I'm super happy with this run!
This run is, of course, nowhere close to world record, but it's my first speedrun I got with zero deaths. The main differences between my record and the world record is really slow boss fights overall. There are some super optimal way to fight bosses but most of it is RNG anyway so I didn't bother with too much of the strategies. Other main time losses was screwing up dojo skip three times. Woops. I didn't keep Geni in the corner and had to fight his second phase normally. I also use very safe strats for Ape by getting the skill book and unlocking jumping Mortal Draw. It makes it so you can stagger Ape immediately without any RNG or positioning issues. Oh, and no canyon skip. Lost 9 years right there.
