Funny thing, if the boss dies while you're in your dying animation, you get revived. And I'm totally counting this as a win. 45 attempts on this guy is enough.
I realized how much I've been taking for granted having that ichor dodge. The second phase 3 came around, I was missing my dodge something fierce. I hadn't actually learned how to dodge the spin attack (you just backstep away from it), and I had to actually manage my stamina to allow myself to dodge. Makes me kind of want to restrict myself to not use the dodge. But the dodge makes the fights so much it's probably not going to happen.
