Six of the seven Rio Grande Southern Railroad Galloping Geese have gathered at the Colorado Railroad Museum for a special weekend. All six are beautifully restored and in operating condition, and this is the first time that they have been together in over half a century. Goose #1, #2, #4, #5, and #7 are seen in action here, and #6 is in the background. Like many retirees, Goose #3 has been nesting in Southern California for the past 60 years and, though invited, was unable to make the trip back to Colorado this year.
