Rock City Gardens, located atop Lookout Mountain, just outside the city of Chattanooga, TN
As you drive through Tennessee, signs pop up all along the Interstate, in nearby cities and towns and even in the middle of nowhere saying "SEE ROCK CITY" and if you do, you wont be disappointed! Jen and I have been to Chattanooga 3 times in 4 years and each time we made the trip back to Rock City to take in the awesome experience that it provides!
Along Rock City's self guided enchanted trail you will see a large variety of plants and beautiful flowers nestled within the spectacular rock formations! A 180 foot swinging bridge brings you to the famous Lovers Leap Overlook and gives you a view of seven of our wonderful states! The High Falls Overlook gives you an amazing view of the falls and the rock formations jetting out from the side of Lookout Mountain! And lastly the Fairyland Caverns is a magical and unique tour through a cave with something around every corner and the kids will love it!
