The historic APACHE TRAIL a scenic stretch of highway just east of Phoenix that runs from Apache Junction to Globe, AZ. The route is one of the most scenic drives in all of Arizona and the Western U.S.! We drove the Apache Trail from Apache Junction to the Fish Creek Canyon overlook which is where the road ends currently due to damage caused by flooding in 2019. Along the way we also stopped at Tortilla Flat to explore this authentic old west town and have lunch at the Superstition Saloon and Restaurant. We highly recommend making this drive if you are in the Phoenix area visiting!
