A journey along the Thames first by boat with the Company of Watermen and Lightermen of the River Thames for the Act of Remembrance on the 11th of November. We travelled from Butler’s Wharf through Tower Bridge to The Palace of Westminster for a remembrance service and then returned to Butler’s Wharf for a walk from Shad Thames along Bermondsey Wall West to Cherry Garden Stairs and then to Rotherhithe and the Alfred and Ada Salter statues the ancient Angel Inn and the Edward III Manor house where our walk ends.
