A walking tour through the history of Anglo Saxon London. We start at the Roman Wall of the City of London at Barber Surgeons Meadow on London Wall. From here we walk past the Roman London remains at Noble Street to St Paul's Cathedral where a church was built in 604. Strolling along Fleet Street we pass into the West End and the heart of Anglo Saxon London around the Strand, Charing Cross and Covent Garden which became the busy Anglo Saxon trading centre of Lundenwic. Our fascinating exploration of Anglo Saxon London ends at Aldwych.
