On the night of February 25, 2024, 14‑year‑old Sebastian Wayne Drake Rogers went to bed after spending the day shopping and playing video games with his mother, Katie Proudfoot. By morning, he was gone — leaving behind his phone, shoes, and money. The only item missing was a small yellow flashlight. His disappearance triggered one of the largest search efforts in Sumner County history, involving local police, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI), and the FBI.
Seth Rogers is the father of Sebastian Rogers, a teenager with autism and rare genetic disorders who went missing from his mother's home in Hendersonville, Tennessee, in February 2024. Seth Rogers has become a relentless advocate for his son's safe return.
Seth Rogers has tirelessly traveled tens of thousands of miles to follow leads and spearheaded public awareness campaigns across multiple states. Recently, he filed two federal lawsuits against the Sumner County Sheriff's Office and the Tennessee Department of Children's Services (DCS), claiming these agencies failed his son before his disappearance and mishandled the subsequent investigation.
