For Renishaw, 2023 has been a very special year as we celebrated our 50th anniversary at events around the world.
It was in 1973 that our original company was created to sell a product that would help to revolutionise measurement and manufacturing.
From very humble beginnings, in the homes and garages of our co-founders, Sir David McMurtry and John Deer, we have grown to be a truly global business that applies innovative thinking to solve challenges faced by our customers in multiple industries across the world.
But we wouldn’t have made it this far without the support of people around the world who have helped us to transform many aspects of science, engineering and manufacturing. And ultimately, to create a more sustainable world.
So, at this special time of year, we’d like to thank our employees past and present, customers, suppliers, and everyone else who have been part of our journey.
